Hyatt-Livingston House was an historic home located at Dobbs Ferry, Westchester County, New York. The house started as a simple tenant-farmer's dwelling about 1698. In the 18th century, it was enlarged to a five-bay, -story dwelling that now forms the central part of the house. It was of wood frame construction, with a gable roof, and sitting on a fieldstone foundation. The 2-story west wing was built by Philip Livingston (?-1810) between 1779 and 1810. During the American Revolution, the house is believed to have served as George Washington's headquarters for a period in 1781.〔 ''See also:'' 〕 It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.〔 The house was destroyed by fire on September 1, 1974. ==See also==
